Call For Abstracts

We call for oral contributions to PhysPlex (Multilayer and Interconnected Networks: Applications), Satellite of the CCS 2016 (

The scope of this Satellite meeting is to review the recent advances in the field of multilayer and interconnected networks, focusing in particular on the interplay between structure and dynamics.
The meeting will be one day long and will host contributed talks.

Contributed talks should mainly cover the following topics:

  • Mathematical properties of multilayer and interconnected structures
  • Empirical measurements of multilayer and interconnected networks
  • Applications of such models to biological, social and urban systems

Applications of multilayer network analysis and modeling to other fields are also welcome and will be taken into account. Submissions will be evaluated and selected by the Program Committee, based on the adherence with the theme of the satellite, originality and scientific soundness.

Abstracts are submitted via the EasyChair website ( ).
Authors who do not have an EasyChair account should sign up for an account (for identification purposes, make sure to use the same email address as the one used for the conference registration). Submissions are required to be at most one page long including the following information: title of the talk, author(s), affiliation(s), e-mail address(es), abstract (text only)
