Instructions for authors (posters and papers)


If you are a poster author, you will have to prepare your poster before its presentation, and you will have to take it out before the end of the same day.

The poster will have a DIN A1 size (59,4 cm x 84 cm) approx.. A local committee member will provide you with the material needed to hang it up and will help you with any problem you might find.

The works of session POSTERS I will be presented the Thursday at 10:40-11:00. The works of session POSTERS II will be presented the Friday at 10:40-11:00. Authors will only have 3 minutes and 1 slide to present their works. All presentations will be loaded in the same computer, provided by the organization. The poster session moderators will demand maximum rigurosity for the assigned slots.



We invite you to submit contributions to CCIA'10 that reflect original finished works, as well as preliminary works with groundbreaking ideas.

  • The official languages of this congress are: Catalan, Spanish, French, Italian and English. However, only the articles written in English will be published in the proceedings (IOS Press, Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence series).
  • All contributions must have a maximum of 10 pages.
  • The revision process is not double-blind, therefore the articles must be delivered:
    • in the form of a complete article, with the authors names and their affiliations;
    • as a PDF file.
  • The submission deadline is May 24th, 2010 (extended).

Guidelines for the Authors on Submitting the Final Versions of CCIA'10 papers

The CCIA'10 proceedings will be published by IOS Press and authors of accepted papers should follow the guidelines presented below:

1. Preparing the final version:

  • The manuscript should be submitted 'camera-ready',
  • with at most 10 pages,
  • without page numbers and
  • without running headlines.

NOTE: The proceedings will be published in BLACK and WHITE. Figures containing color should be transformed so that its comprehension is not hindered when the figures are printed in B&W. Particular attention should be given to graphs containing a large number of curves.
