Bio:

Carles Aliagas is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering and Mathematics (DEIM) of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), Tarragona. He received a M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 1991. His research spans various domains, including cache hierarchy design, architectures for chip multiprocessors, wireless sensor networks, cost-effective multicomputing for educational environments, as well as LoRa devices and the LoRaWan protocol.
