Bio:

Carme Olivé is an Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona, Spain. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 2006. The main field of her research is the ordinary differential equations, specifically the study of continuous dynamic systems. With the work leading to her doctoral thesis, the theory of resurgence was introduced in Spain.
