Bio: Oriol Farràs is Associated Professor (professor agregat) at the Department of Computer Engineering and Mathematics, Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). He received the degree in Mathematics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 2004, and the Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from UPC in 2005, studying both degrees under the guidance of CFIS. He received the Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from UPC in 2010. He was Assistant Professor at UPC, Post-Doctoral Fellow at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Juan de la Cierva Researcher at URV, and tenure-track Assistant Professor at URV. His research interests include Secret-sharing Schemes, Cryptography, Matroid Theory and Information Theory. |
