Summary
This speech introduces the field of process mining as a crucial element that links the fields of business intelligence and data mining . In particular, we will present the three main dimensions of the area : discovery, compliance, and extension, giving specific examples of algorithms in each case. In the same way, we will define the main challenges considered in this area, as well as, use cases ( e.g. hospital management) and existing tools.
