Summary
We, Hitotsubashi univ. and NTT, have studied, implemented, and developed “secure computation” for the secondary use of official statistics. Secure computation is a method to analyze data while the data is encrypted. We introduce secure computation with a demonstration and show several use cases to official statistics. Our system can compute basic statistics, aggregation, statistical test, and regression through R interface and, to our knowledge, our system has the highest performance in the world.
