Summary
Breast cancer starts when the cells in the breast begin to grow uncontrollably. Biopsy is the most robust technique to accurately diagnose the presence of malignant carcinomas. The tumor is malignant (cancer) if the cells can grow by penetrating (invading) the surrounding tissues or spreading (metastasis) to distant areas of the body. Our purpose is to develop a novel deep convolutional framework to recognize breast tumor subtypes in microscopic biopsy images.
