Summary
The goal of the Streamobile project is to demonstrate an Internet pay-per-view distribution system. The presentation will comprise several parts. First, a quick introduction of streaming techniques will be presented. Then some micropayment concepts including the PayWord algorithm used in the prototype will be described. Multimedia copyright protection via copy detection will be discussed next. The last part of the presentation will be devoted to describing the two main features of the prototype that has been implemented:
- Video streaming,using micropayment techniques, toward a PDA (http server, broker and client's video player)
- Copyright protection of images throws a web interface.
A demonstration of the prototype operation will be offered as a conclusion.
