Summary
Nowadays, professionals use machine learning techniques more frequently to help medical personnel in their daily practice to make health systems more efficient for different medical specializations. Today it is a reality that the use of computer vision systems and artificial intelligence has positively impacted how technology should be conceived in the different medical services. An example of this is the design of a diabetic retinopathy analysis system combining machine learning techniques and computer vision, jointly developed with URV.
This seminar will show different advances in the medical field that the IET-UAC research group has developed from Universidad Autónoma del Caribe and the Software and Network Engineering group from Universidad de la Costa - CUC.
