Current Affiliation

I am the coordinator of ITAKA (the research group on Intelligent Technologies for Advanced Knowledge Acquisition at URV). This group, created in January 2007, has absorbed GruSMA, the working group on Multi-Agent Systems at URV.

I am the coordinator of the URV Master on Computer Science Engineering and Security and the Interuniversity (URV-UPC-UB) Master on Artificial Intelligence.

I am the coordinator of the Spanish thematic network of agent-based activities (until December 2007).

Current Workshops

None at the moment.

I have organised workshops at CAEPIA-03, AgentCities ID-3, ECAI-2002, ECAI-2004, IJCAI-2005, ECAI-2006 and AAMAS-2008.


My wife Aïda also works at URV.

These are our sons, Ďscar and Gabriel.
